Settling In

We're beginning to settle in to our new life in rural Virginia. I'm firmly ensconced in my new job and we have most of the boxes unpacked, so I thought I'd bring everyone up to date.

The wedding went wonderfully. Anne chose a rustic bed and breakfast for the ceremony; the wedding party all stayed there the night before, renewing old friendships and talking the night away. I had forgotten how pleasant it was to be in your twenties and to have a circle of close friends to share one's life with. Anne's old roommate, Kristen, from college was her maid of honor. Our youngest daughter has a friend with the same name and I distinguish them as, "Ball-of-Fire Kristen" and "Statuesque Kristen." This one is the ball of fire and is the most vivacious, life-loving girl I've ever met. She lights up the room wherever she goes; some smart boy had better scoop her up and do right by her; she's a real find.

I hear people talk negatively about the "kids of today," but if these kids are the norm, we're going to do well. They're competent and confident -- nothing like us at that age. They set up the whole wedding themselves, wrote their own vows, and carried it off without a hitch. Anne wore a beautiful white gown with a long train and looked positively stunning. Even the weather cooperated, with a beautiful sunset and a light breeze that occasionally knocked an acorn from the old oak under which they were married, causing everyone to titter as the bride and groom glanced upward with a grin, wondering if a big acorn would bean them as they said their vows. They are postponing their honeymoon until later in the winter, when they are going to Spain for a little respite from winter weather. For now, it's back to work and a new life. I can only tell them that if they love being married as much as I do, they are in for a good run.

On a different note, I've not seen Bethany for about a week and I miss her terribly. She's back in West Virginia, taking care of Graeme and selling our old house. Unfortunately for her, when we are separated I start getting into that spanky mood and when we meet I make up for lost time! Oh well, I shouldn't feel sorry for her; that's what bottoms are for...(grin)

We've talked with Sam and Renee about the new figging how-to video and they keep calling us, wanting to get started. I think little Renee really likes having stingy things put in her bottom, all the more when she really has no say about it. I've been pushing the video editors to get Sam and Renee's first video, "Ginger Surprise" done; it should be available any day now. We'd like some feedback from everyone, since this is the first fairly explicit video we've done. For sure, the ideas we get from our members and friends will go right back into the next video we do, so be creative -- you might just see your fantasy become reality!
